Each piece begins in my home studio in West Des Moines, Iowa, where fine silver wire is carefully woven, shaped, and soldered into intricate designs. The process is entirely by hand. There is no shortcut or machine that can replicate the precision and artistry required.
From the first pencil sketch to the final polish, every stage demands focus and dexterity. I start by drafting the design, then measuring and cutting each component. Fine strands of silver are twisted and woven into delicate patterns before being painstakingly soldered together. Depending on the complexity, a single piece can take many hours—or even days—to complete.
This labor-intensive process ensures that no two pieces are alike, making each one a unique work of wearable art.
